AMS series

AMS series - asynchronous motors fitted with a DC brake with a single braking surface and a small braking torque (Mb < Mn) to ensure slow and safe braking.

This series offers quiet and gentle braking typical of DC brakes with a small braking torque and is therefore recommended for all ndustrial applications requiring slow and safe braking of large masses.

The series is designed to have a fixed braking torque and reduced lenght which allows it to be used for installation without modification of the faccility.

• Poles 2, 4, 6, 8 (two speed on demand)
• Insulation class F
• Degree of protection IP54 (IP55 and IP56 on request)

• Brake power supply 230/400V 50Hz (other on request)
• Brake power supply with rectifire (via the terminal board)
• High braking torque (Mb < Mn)
• Very reduced overall demensions (similar to series AM)
